Back In Stock I have to confess I was pretty blown away by this one the first time I heard it. An absolutely stunning reggae rendition of Donald Byrd's classic "Cristo Redentor."
Lovely deep cosmic/jazz/dub vibes featuring some amazing musicianship and singing. Reminded me a little bit of "Kylyn" by Japan's Pecker which is one of my all time faves. Things get even deeper and dubbier on the flip too...
Beautiful record. Hats off to all involved.
