Very excited about the arrival of this one!
T3AL's truly exceptional Bluish Green which caused quite a stir when it arrived last summer before promptly selling out in the blink of an eye (but thankfully has just had a repress) gets the remix treatment here from a choice selection of some of the finest cross continental dubwise sonic adventurers around
First up Limerick's Frankie Downbeat dubs up "R U 4 Real" real nice with an earth shaking digi bassline which adds a lovely low end groove to proceedings whilst still maintaining the dreamy spaciousness of the original. We then return to Toronto for N1_Sound's rework of "Yellow Moon" which gets a dubbed out late night 808 machine funk makeover.
Flip it over and next stop is Bristol for acid-dub don Om Unit's aptly named Sunrise Dub Mix of "Weightless" which delivers a heads down deep and dubby dancefloor friendly rework which does indeed feel like the perfect soundtrack to a tropical sunrise. Finally we return to Canada for long time dubwise hero's SKRS reimagining of "Flip That Switch" which, in true SKRS fashion, sounds like it's been beamed in from another planet adding a healthy dose of space age street soul into the mix.
A suitably exceptional set of remixes for an exceptional record.
