One of my personal favourites from the exemplary back catalogue of 90's experimental dub label Digi Dub is 1994's extraordinary and utterly unique "Purple Boy" by Smart Alec & Cleffor Cloggs, an ode to the joys and perils of drinking Super Tennents in the park.
Well the good news is that we're treated to a brand new set of previously unreleased cuts from the pair here which have been dug out from the Digi Dub DAT vaults and pressed up onto vinyl for the very first time.
Up top we're treated to the beautifully cosmic "Like It Here" that's paired up with a deep and meditative dub of epic proportions. Then flip it over for the bouncy "Loveborough Dub" before proceedings are brought to a close with another stunning dub in the shape of the spacey yet stepping "Heart like a Dub" the original version of which appeared on the much sort after 1994 LP "South East of the Thames."
