Following on from the reappearance of their legendary Quique LP earlier in the year, it's great to see more of Seefeel's exceptional music getting the reissue treatment.
Here it's their 1993 release "Pure, Impure' which gets a new lease of life and, having previously been a CD only release, this edition will also marks it's first ever appearance on vinyl.
Collecting together tracks from Seefeel's three EPs More Like Space, Plainsong and Time to Find Me (each of which will cost you a small fortune nowadays to buy on vinyl) this new expanded double LP version includes every track from those three EPs (rather than the smaller selection of six that appeared on the original CD version) alongside a bonus previously unreleased demo version off Moodswing.
This means that as well as all of Seefeel's amazing original versions you're also treated to three knock out remixes, including two from none other than Aphex Twin. In particular make sure you check the AFX Slow Mix of The Time To Find Me. Aphex goes dub and it's every bit as good as you'd hope it would be....
