The essential Dubplate series from Mysticisms reaches number 12 here with Miles J Paralysis taking up the helm and revisiting the musical output of Persian (who featured in editions 1 and 3 of the series) resulting in a set of truly exceptional dark and dubwise reworks.
With a nice variety of styles that covers both the dancefloor and more zonked horizontal listening the four remixes found here all share the same psychedelic transcendental power to transport you to the darker edges of the echo chamber.
I'm particularly digging the "Breathwork Dub" of "Smoke Mari" which is a proper one bong too many trip to the darkside with Linval Thompson's iconic vocals transformed into a spectral chant that floats ghostlike through a fog of earth shaking bass. A definite future early doors play at HOLY.
