Stunningly beautiful record from Novelette Barnett that's full of soulful melancholia, mystery and beauty.
The addition of the wistful flutes and understated piano perfectly complement Novelette's distinctive vocals and the end result is a tune that really stands out from the pack as something special with timeless enduring appeal which probably explains why this reissue 7" from Only Roots never sticks around for long (I think it's now on it's fourth or fifth repress...).
