Superb collection of dubs produced by Dennis "Mixman" Bedeau between 1986 and 1990 and originally released on LP back in 1994 on his Blakamix label out of Bedford.
This one is a big personal favourite and a great showcase for Mixman's distinctive sound which manages to be both heavy and driving as well as pleasingly experimental and spacey with some great use of synths.
"Cross The Border" featured as the opening track on the mix a did I few years back for Stan Ray and it's a record I come back to again and again. Although still quite under the radar it's understandably been getting more and more interest in recent years meaning OG copies are now pretty difficult and pricey to find so this new reissue is very welcome indeed.
