Essential Berlin bass transmission here from Marco Shuttle on Samurai Music who delivers a killer four tracker that captures the ethereal spaciness of early-era Warp IDM combined with the skeletal sub bass pressure of the dubbier end drum & bass.
Kicking things off is title track "Sumud" which is a deep and deadly slice of dubbed out percussive techno that contrasts nicely with the lighter shades of the more ambient leaning "Las Dunas de Taroa" that follows it.
Then flip it over and the sun disappears behind the clouds again for the dark lysergic delights of "Iso 50" before proceeding are brought to a close with the all encompassing rhythmic ambience of "Polylayering What I've Got."
A great record that expertly explores both the light and the darkside of dubwise sonic universe.
