The welcome return of Twin Cities' excellent Digital Sting label with an inspired pairing of two artists at the cutting edge of global soundsystem sonic exploration - UK's Low End Activist and Canada's SeekersInternational.
Much like SKR's excellent previous collaboration with Om Unit this is one of those records where both parties bring their own distinctive production approach and expertise to the table to a create very special and unique collaborative sound that delivers the best of both worlds and doesn't sound quite like anything else.
The six cuts we're treated to here weave an otherworldly dreamlike journey between the past, present and future of soundsystem music guided by the dub principles of mixing desk manipulation and bass minimalism.
Just have a listen to "Muzikon V" which sounds like a ghostly sub bass transmission that's been beamed in simultaneously from both the past and the future. Proper dub futurist vibes.
As with all Digital Sting releases it's also beautifully presented in a silk screen printed sleeve with obi-strip sticker.
