Amazing alternative take on Leroy Smart's "Pride & Ambition" which predates the official Tuff Gong release from 1972.
More understated than the later release it extenuates Leroy's beautifully soulful vocals and is accompanied on the flip by another alternative and previously unreleased mix which was used by Big Youth as the rhythm track for his "Pride & Joy Rock" deejay cut included on the legendary 1973 Screaming Target LP.
