Essential reissue 12" from Real Rock Records out of Italy that captures a magical meeting of minds between two legends of the dubwise world - Lee Scratch Perry and Mad Professor.
Originally released in 1986 by Trojan "I Am A Madman" has maybe been somewhat lost amongst the multitude of releases Perry was involved in during the 80's (many of which I think's fair to say weren't maybe quite up to the standard of his output from the Black Ark haydays).
However that definitely isn't the case here - 6 minutes of classic swirly psychedelic (and slightly melancholy) reggae from the master. And then what really seals the deal is a knock out dub on the flip from Mad Professor who delivers a bass and melodica excursion of epic proportions.
Great record.
