Another essential Winston Edwards produced Tubby LP originally dating back to 1976.
The concept here is that it contains tunes played by Tubby at the legendary Wailers show at the National Arena on 26th September 1975 where his sound system regained its status as Kingstons champion sound.
Frankly it's worth the entrance price alone for "Unit Dub" which is a real stand out, not just in Tubby's body of work but in 70's dub in general. Stripped back bass driven minimalist dub-funk of the highest order. It almost sounds in the same sonic realm as some of the more experimental post-punk dub that appeared half a decade later in the UK. One of the most interesting and unique sounding dubs I've heard from that era.
