Warehouse Find Ace under the radar comp from Mad Professor's Ariwa label dating back to 1990 that's home to two absolute killers that are pretty much impossible to find on vinyl anywhere else.
First up is Earl Lawrence's "Dancing On The Bass Line" which is one of my all time favourites and featured in the recent Mad Professor Mix I put together. Delivered here in its full 9 minute extended discomix glory with the vocal going straight into a superb dub from the Prof. Dubby, funky and soulful in equal measures it's pure dancefloor dynamite.
However the hidden gems don't stop there... you also get Glen Brown's irresistible "Rich Girl" which is more Ariwa magic combining Brown's soulful falsetto with an insanely funky rhythm from the Prof. This one's also delivered in a pleasingly dubby extended mix too going fully dubwise in the second half.
A very handy (and affordable) way to get these two unmissable cuts on vinyl. Nice example of some classic 90's graphic design on the sleeve too.
Stock copy of the 1990 LP released on Ariwa.
Pease note: Vinyl has slight 'dish' warp but it dooesn't affect play
