Watch How The People Dancing | Unity Sounds From The London Dancehall 1986 - 1989 2xLP

Back In Stock Legendary showcase of the Unity Sounds label that's a definite contender for one of my favourite comps of all time.

Every track on this is a killer (including some murderous dubs) providing a vital historical document that captures an important moment of musical cross pollination when Jammy's Sleng Teng digital revolution made it's way over to these shores sending the UK on it's own musical journey in adapting these new bass heavy sounds for our own domestic sound systems which in turn set us on a path that ultimately led to the evolution of new home grown genres such as jungle, dubstep and grime.

Fantastic double vinyl set that comes with an informative insert featuring some great photos alongside an in depth interview with Unity's founder Ribs.
