Dubwise Vinyl Exclusive To say I'm very happy and excited to be able to offer copies of this record is a major understatement. This one has been a bit of personal holy grail for me ever since I heard Optimo play it on one of their mighty fine NTS transmissions which was proceeded by a very swift visit to Discogs where I sadly discovered none for sale so it sat on my wants list for a couple of years before one eventually popped up which I grabbed.
Jefferson Belt's "The Creeping Tings Of The Earth" is quite unlike anything else I've ever heard. Casio keyboard dub poetry is the best kind of description I can come up with. It's one those records that on paper feels like it shouldn't work but the fact that it does makes it all the more special. In equal parts joyous, uplifting, mystical and a little bit strange (in the best possible way!) it's the perfect tune to drop if you want want to turn heads and get everyone scrabbling for a track ID.
Unplayed stock copies of the original release dating back to 2009 available. Delivered on a stamped white label 7" some of which come in a bespoke printed sleeve (like in the picture above), some in a slightly different printed sleeve (the label's company logo sleeve) and some in plain generic white sleeves.
The printed sleeve versions will be dished out on a first come first serve basis to the first orders placed. One per customer please.
