Dancefloor dub alchemist Miles J Paralysis delves into the enviable back catalogue legendary UK dub experimentalist The Rootsman and unearths three gems which he presents here on his own Crying Outcast imprint alongside a blinding remix from himself.
A-side is dedicated to the mystical outernational sounds of "When The Eye Opens" which was written in the early 2000s but not released until 2015 when it appeared on a (now very scarce) Partial Records 10". Here it's paired with an a brand new remix from Miles himself who delivers a hauntingly beautiful dancefloor rework that will touch your soul as well was move your feet.
Then flip it over and you're treated to two more classic Rootsman cuts. First up is "Dub Of The Spirits" a collaboration with Celtarabia taken for the much in demand 1998 LP Union Of Souls which is followed by another late 90's collaboration this time with The Disciples in the shape of Pachakuti's "Loka Samasta Dub" which sees it's first ever appearance on vinyl here.
An inspired 12" that provides a welcome link between classic and contemporary UK dubwise experimentation.
