Back In Stock One of my all time favourite Lee Perry productions as featured in the tribute piece I wrote for Test Pressing and also in volume 6 of my Magnificent 7's mixes.
This was the follow up to Cadogan and Perry's top 5 hit 'Hurt So Good' and although it didn't achieve the same chart success it's my personal preference of the two. It captures that magic ability Scratch had for adding a sharp pop sensibility to his characteristic swirly psychedelic take on reggae, in this case resulting in his own uniquely off kilter take on lovers rock. Comes complete with a great dub on the flip.
