The first in a four part series from the legendary Lempuyang label showcasing the quality and diversity of the resurgent and very buoyant contemporary dub techno scene
Up top we're treated to two pulsing cuts from Upwellings and Rothchord who tap into the deep spacious dancefloor sound pioneered in the 90's by Mark Ernestus and Moritz von Oswald's Maruizio and Basic Channel releases. Then flip it over for a three cuts that head in a more rootical direction from a trio long time Dubwise Vinyl favourites.
Paul Simmons (a.k.a. Hidden Sequence) delivers a very 2026 update on the classic 70's roots steppers sound with 'Burial (Natty Haffi Dread)" before Another Channel goes proper deep with the assistance of vocalist Andy Pearl on "Nah Feel Fear" and then Inner Echo bring proceedings to a close with the soundsystem ready dub techno/steppers hybrid "Ingrain"
A great five tracker that effortlessly shows why dub techno is finding it's way back into everyone's record boxes at the moment.
