There are quite a few reggae versions of the William DeVaughn classic out there but this is my by far my favourite from recent years.
Prince Fatty teams up with the one and only Earl 16 to deliver his own pleasingly soulful and dubby take on the 70's soul gem. As well as the vocal cut you also get a dub of epic proportions on the flip. In my opinion it's the best dub of this tune out there. Beautifully dreamy and cosmic but with a heavy as lead bassline it's pure dubwise perfection and featured in the Belearic Dubwise mix I did a while back.
Originally released as a limited edition 7" for Record Store Day in 2019 and with that version now in short supply and pricey this is a welcome repress for 2026.
