Warehouse Find Superb under the radar roots 4 tracker dating back to 2019 on Brazil's Meiembipe Records that runs on a super tuff rhythm which has one of those basslines that just hits you in the chest - heavy!
Noel (son of Alton) Ellis steps up for the first vocal cut which is an absolute beauty and further confirms my view that he is a massively underrated vocalist (just check out some of his recordings for Canada's Summer Records in the early 80s for further evidence). Then on the flip there's an another great vocal cut this time from Brazil's Monkey Jhayam who provides a refreshingly alternative version delivered in Portuguese.
The two vocals are then backed up by two dubs - a majestic horns cut on Noel's side and then a more traditional dub on Jhayam's side both of which go nice and deep really showcasing the power of that immense bassline.
All round a seriously top record - well worth checking!
