Love this one! Two deadly dubwise dancefloor bombs straight outta Estonia courtesy of Nikolajev on the Sad Fun label.
Up top is the digi-dub-dancehall meets 2-step banger "Lego Dub" which combines a monstrously funky bassline with some pleasingly spaced out dub FX and then adds in the additional swagger of driving 2-step drumbeats to devastating effect. Dubby and dancey in equal measure, this one is a serious groover...
Flip it over and the tempo slows down as we head deep into the depths of the echo chamber for the darker acidic synth driven delights of "Tongue Double". This one heads into the cold wave meets dub territory explored by the likes of Froid Dub but also adds in a welcome bit of 303 acid action on the side to create it's own distinctive sound.
Both absolutely cracking tunes. Great little 45!
