Really nice 12" here from Modi Bardo on the Lo Dubs label out of Portland that presents two distinctive and equally brilliant sides to the electronic dub coin.
A-side provides two cuts of deep ambient leaning dub techno that are pleasingly heavy on the bass (the kind of sound pioneered by artists like Babe Roots ad labels like Challenger Deep) then flip it over and the pace increases with two more dancefloor focused cuts that maintain the spaciousness but add in the beats bringinf in influences from halt time and acid but still keeping that lovely earth shaking dubwise bass at the forefront.
One for the heads and the dancefloor!
