Back In Stock Monster mid 90's dubwise jungle business from Jungle Neck, a.k.a. UK dub legends Dougie Conscious and Nigel Lake, who put out a series of killer under the radar vinyl releases that have been given a new lease of life here in this inspired double vinyl collection from Switzerland's Musique Pour La Danse label.
This is exactly the kind of stuff you could drop into a dub and reggae set as it's heavily dub influenced and a great example of what I refer to as the mid 90's "jungle-not-jungle" sound where people outside of the jungle scene started making jungle records that as a result just ended up sounding a bit different (often in a good way, as is the case here).
A really interesting historical document illustrating the cross pollination between different genres as well as, most importantly, an absolutely banging record.
