Canada's consistently excellent Shella Records come up trumps once again here unearthing an absolute gem of stunning cosmic tinged reggae from Jerry Brown, founder of legendary the Summer Records label.
The combination of Jerry's gentle falsetto and the hazy dreamlike production that's topped off with some sublime flute and sax from hornsman Fitty is a match made in reggae heaven.
But it doesn't stop there... flip it over and you're treated to a dub of the highest order. Mixed by Jerry himself this is up there as one of the very best with a pleasingly experimental no holds barred approach to mixing desk manipulation that creates a beautifully hazy meandering dubwise masterpiece.
Hats off to Jerry and Shella Records on this one - it's a beauty!
