Big fan of this one. Superb UK roots straight outta late 70's Midlands and originally released in 1979 on Birmingham's 021 Records (which was founded by post-punk outfit Au Pairs and also home to early releases by Musical Youth).
It captures that classic deep and dubwise late 70's UK roots sound which also brings in influences from other genres of the era such as funk and post-punk. The slighter dubbier flip side cut "Slow Down" is a big personal favourite and featured in the very first volume of my Magnificent 7s mixes.
This is a repress of Reggae Archive's reissue 45 on red vinyl, the first pressing of which which is long sold out and now goes for ££s on the second hand market (as does the original....) so it's great to see this one back out on streets again at a reasonable price.
