Rome's Real Rock Records continue their heroic work in unearthing the vinyl holy grails of UK dub legends Earthquake Studios with the next two LPs from the duo of TNT Roots and Winston Dread following the very gratefully received reissue of their epic debut record Dub Harder Than Steel earlier this year (which incidentally is also getting a repress and available to pre-order if you missed it first time round).
Revelation In Dub is the third LP from Earthquake originally released in 1994 and the first in a series of three under the Revelation In Dub banner. In comparison to their first two records it feels like a step forward into a more defined and consolidated sound that presents Earthquake Studio's own uniquely dark take on UK dub. The whole record has deeper darker feel than its predecessors that pushes the industrial edged drum machine experimentations of the first two records into more of a mystical futuristic roots direction that's still anchored by the same seismic basslines.
