Mysticisms' Dubplate series continues to deliver the goods with numnber 11 in the series which sees them revists to the musical output of 90's dub dancefloor experimentalists Dub Specialists (a.k.a. Dougie Waldrop and Chris Petter) who were also the focus of number 9 in the series (which coincientally is also getting a welcome repress).
Here the four tracks are selected from Dub Specialists' second LP from 1996 “Dub To Dub Beat To Beat” with the album cuts getting re-edited for even more deadly dancefloor power by Lexx, Miles J Paralysis, Mysticisms' own Chuggy and Vanity Project.
The result is an all killer no filler selection of dubwise dynamite that joins the dots between dub, house, techno and breakbeat and highlights what a productive period the 90's were for forging links between the dub and dance music scenes.
