Disrupt | The Bass Has Left The Building LP

Jahtari

Regular price £21.99

First time reissue of this legendary debut LP from Disrupt that put his mighty fine Jahtari label and their unique brand of 8-bit dub on the musical map when it was first released in 2009.

Drawing influences from digi-reggae, hip hop, kung fu, video games and some earth shattering dub basslines (beautifully depicted in the striking cover design by The KLF's Jimmy Cauty) it's a sound that established it's own sub genre and whose presence in the world of dub is still very much felt today extending well beyond the Jahtari label itself (I often find myself referring to new music as "Jahtari-esque").

Delivered here in a new vinyl version that includes two additional bonus tracks not featured on the original as well as a poster of Cauty's amazing artwork.
