Another sure shot from Amsterdam's South Of North label this time in the shape of the latest long player vinyl transmission from Lithuania's Brokenchord.
I featured the opening track from their previous record, the underground classic "Stone Island Tracks", in the mix I put together for TDT series earlier this year and had a lot of people asking me whether I still had any copies of it to which the asnwer was sadly a definitive no (it sold out within a week of being in stock) but if you missed out on that one then this fine follow up definitely deserves your attention.
In fact I would say the closer on this one is of comparably epic magnitude to that opener on the last record - the 11 minute lysergic opus "Liquid Mind Experiments." In addition you also get six other delectable cuts that bridge the gap between the motorik grooves of Can and Neu! and the psychedelic dancefloor friendly indie of Spacemen 3 and early Happy Mondays with a an extra layer of dubbed out dreaminess sprinkled on top for good measure
Another future classic in the making. Don't miss out this time!
