Back In Stock This is actually the original format that The Creator was first released in - a 12" discomix version with the vocal running straight into the dub that originally appeared as the B-side to Aisha's 1986 release 'Dancing Time' and hence qualified for the list of Mad Professor B-Sides that I complied for Test Pressing. This is the official (and only) repress since then.
It's also worth mentioning that both the vocal and dub mixes that appear on this 12" are different to the ones that appear on the later 7". They're both longer (by over a minute each) giving the 12" discomix version an impressive total duration of nearly 12 minutes and there are also a few other subtle differences (e.g. different intros on the dub...)
When it comes to the music itself this one probably doesn't need much of an introduction having been sampled by a number of dance tunes during the 90s, most famously by The Orb on Blue Room.
A spectacular example of devotional UK roots that deserves its place in any discerning record collection.
