Hot on the heels of that killer Tascam Space Season collaboration LP Taka Noda, a.k.a. Mystica Tribe, strikes gold again here with this ace little 7" on the legendary ZamZam Sounds.
Both sides on this one are absolutely top class and it's honestly really tough to choose a favourite. A-sider 'Ido' captures that same warm cosmic sound that made that recent LP so special, mixing ear worm melodica melodies with some seriously heavy pulsing bass. Then flip it over and things get darker on the 'Renren Version' which takes the same rhythm but goes in deep and dubwise, adding in a touch of post-punk influences and some absolutely wicked driving steppers drumming. What a great little record!
