Another really lovely reissue from Sound Metaphors of a magical one of a kind record that beautifully captures that moment in the late 80's/early 90's when the explosion of acid house triggered a much more opened minded approach to musical production resulting in an intriguing melting pot of styles developing.
Here the floaty surging synths of the emerging rave scene get mixed with lovers rock, street soul and a healthy dubwise production aesthetic. It's the 'Dance Mix' (which is effectively a dub) that's the winner for me. A wonderfully absorbing track that transports you off to a parallel universe of warehouse parties and a new perspective on life.
