More amazing next level dubwise dancehall business here from Jamaica's I Jahbar on Glasgow's always excellent Full Dose records.
A-side sees I Jahbar extoll the virtues of the herb on heavyweight cut Smokin and then on the flip he calls out the wrongs of Babylon on the wonderfully cosmic UFO. Production comes from the very talented Brollachan who takes a pleasingly dubbed out approach to the rhythms and both vocal cuts come backed with some seriously wicked dubs courtesy of Lvchessi (who was behind those excellent Burro 12"s I had in a little while back). Particular mention needs to be made of the dub of UFO which in my humble opinion is very special indeed delivering 6 minutes of cosmic dub-dancehall perfection.
Served up on a hand stamped white label 12" housed in a very cool looking DIY style printed sleeve.
Sorry about the price but these are only in a very limited run of 100 so not cheap...
